You are a company of mercenaries in the isolated Aurelia system. It is a system of crumbling stations, vacated outposts and a lot of empty space. The parts of Aurelia that are inhabited are fractured into a multitude of domains, all clinging to their authority while fighting off their many neighbouring enemies. Most people have never heard of other stellar systems. Go forth and earn your keep, FREEHELM.

I had a lot of fun with 4 friends playing this throughout the evening and I'm definitely looking forward to creating a new character and having some more shenanigans in space together.

Freehelm is a pen-and-paper RPG in which you and your friends play a company of mercenaries in space. The game sets the stage, introduces the different character classes, and explains the rules for both the players and the dungeon master. The game is just two pages long which leaves plenty of room for your own interpretation.
